Sunday market and helado (ice cream) man! Every week at the Sunday market after we collect the donated food, we go back into the market and buy fresh fruits for ourselves. I tend to always go a little overboard and this week I took a picture of the freezer when I was done! Strawberry, strawberry banana, strawberry banana kiwi, banana, kiwi banana, kiwi, and apricot! Also in there is a bunch of frozen ice coffees, Yum yum!

Weld the sign, interview and awesome bonfire Max and I had to take the sign into town to have a local man weld it as I could not weld the sign here. I wrapped it up the best I could in blankets so the paint would not get scratched. That would be the least of my worries as I would soon find out, the man doing the welding was a super nice guy but I had to be on his ass to make sure he wouldn't put sparks all over the paint and ruin it, even if that meant catching...

Special breakfast.......and interview Yuca pancakes! Yum yum ! It was really funny to me because the picture posted here is of Max's plate and the plate he gave to the owners son actually looked like a pancake... Hah Roberto and Perla asked us if we would give interviews for their magazine on the subject of giving so Max and I said yes, but it seemed there was a miscommunication because he never showed up! I get woken up in the middle of the night to the sounds of Max screaming in Russian, apparently he saw Paul in the kitchen with the lights on cooking for himself! Emergency energy meeting...

Finishing touches and an arrow! Just when I thought I was finished the sign, Mayra tells me they want an arrow hanging off the side of it..... So she takes me over to the piece of metal that she wants me to use and it's like a 32nd of an inch or less... Lol So I told her it's not possible and I just paint a nice arrow on the sign.
