JUST A LITTLE STOPOVER…

A slight change in plan, largely due to a lack of money, Australia being too expensive and wanting to stay away for as long as possible, the Australia leg of my trip has been cut short to just three days in Sydney. From here Claire and I fly to Bangkok, with no guide book and no real plan.Our thinking is to travel Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, maybe Malaysia, maybe China. The total time in South East Asia…until the money runs out, but hopefully around three months.

Anyway, having spent three days in Sydney, we made sure we did all the touristy stuff. We saw the smaller than expected Sydney Opera House, walked over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and spent the afternoon lazing on Bondi Beach. We sampled a few bars, and run a lot of errands. So, apart from that there's not a great deal to tell.

I will come back to Australia no doubt in the future, so I'm not too disappointed that I didn't get to see it this time. We're very excited about getting over to South East Asia, and no doubt, I will have a lot to tell you in the coming months.
