Day 23 (Wednesday 8th November 2006) Last night Frankie picked us up as promised and delivered us to the bus terminal. Day 21 (Monday 6th November 2006)We made it to Penang! Our taxi from the hotel arrived a little late so we were fretting for a few minutes, but when the driver turned up he sped like a demon to the ticket office and then on to the airport. In fact he did so well, we made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare.We boarded our plane to Kula Lumpur and then connected on to Penang with out any fuss, although Marc's language skills have made no improvement....

Day 19 (Saturday 4th November 2006)Up early, packed the last few little things and hopped on the ferry to Phuket. We'd have to say that Ko Phi Phi was our favourite place in Thailand. The busy little streets (nothing we're sure compared to what it will be in peak season) infact were no trouble at all, and if anything, created a kind of 'amongst friends' atmosphere.
