Hi again thought that my attempt yesterday was deleted before it was completely sent but when I logged on just now so pleased to have messages from the old world.

We are now sat in a very luxurious hotel having a glass of Shiraz - thank god it's not an internet cafe - Vicky's looking at the sofas and light fitting likes she never seen anything like it in her life before - she's already forgotton her previous existence and is fast becoming an unkempt trucker - we'll shortly be seeing her crack poking out of her trousers.

We drove to Napier from Lake Taupo on Thursday (we couldn't believe our eyes the scenery was absolutely breath-taking we sometimes felt tingles in our tummies) we had every intention of getting a campsite having shower and washing hair - Vicky w as feeling the adventure in her neck and shoulders so she booked into a physio for a complete massage. While she was in there I showered in the van in the physio's carpark - needs must. The physio allowed Vicky to shower in their facility - b****.

Napier is so wonderfully Art Deco again VA spent money on buying all the things she couldn't live without. We decided yet again not to get a campsite but park up by the port and have a few drinks. Found an hip happening place for lots of red wine and brandy and vodka - slightly thick headed this morning but still managed to be on our way by 8 am. After a very boring six hour drive - scenery not much to look at - we arrived in Wellington waiting for our 3 am ferry to Picton - south island were the extreme adventures begin. We've just had a lovely sleep parked up in the museum car park windows open beautiful breeze blowing through in THE VAN.
