hallo, the last two/three weeks have been spent picking and eating loads of grapes...o the fun of it!

after heading out of melbourne to a small town called shepparton i ran into an irish man called dave, we hit the job trail and landed up picking tomatoes for a day...but conditions were pretty dire so we quickly relocated to picking grapes. so for the last two weeks ive been here picking grapes 7 days a week 9 hours a day lol. but the pay is pretty great with about 300 english pounds a week and dirt cheap accomodation.
the guys who own the farm are italians who are pretty cool, then theres a kiwi guy called steve, a few indians blokes and some german girls called ina and mirina (i think :S)....all in all its quite a cool crowd.

on top of just the grape picking ive been driving tractors and a quad bike which was wicked, one thing real hot out here...was working in about 40 degrees the other day which was a bit sweaty...nice.

will be staying here for another 10 days or so before finally heading up the east coast after a bit of a delay. should be meeting matt in surfers when we get up there which should be sweet. we got pretty lucky with this job as its prob one of the easier fruit picking work, and pretty laid back...but still cant wait to hit it up the coast!
picture wise ive got a few snaps, but keep forgetting my lead to upload them...but will get them up soon as i can.
