Had a very relaxing morning - Lisa was first up this morning and circumnavigated the ship loads before breakfasting at the pool - someone's school alarm on their phone went off at 6 am and it was left to me to switch off - thanks Ruth !!!:-) however I was soon back to sleep. I was awoken to the room telephone - Lisa rang to warm me that it was 9am - and I needed to get up if I wanted breakfast!! I had a quick run round the top deck for 20 min before having fresh ...

We have been to the captains cocktail party and martinis were the drink of the evening. Followed by a Gala dinner - very tasty. Then the Miss Melody competition - very funny - then for a spot of promenading in the empty and quiet (and warm) deck.

After the Italian lessons. Went to watch a tournament game of Texas holdem They were playing for a €500 pot. It was fun to watch - just stopes for afternoon coffee then back off to finish the Bond or maybe a game on the laptop.

Just had the first morning at sea. Did a 5 k run round the top of the ship - 20 times round the track - Ruth joined me for the first 5 - she did well. Had a lazy breakfast reading my first book on the iPad. Ruth and Lisa went out and worshiped the sun God. I had a dip in the jacuzzi and a quick swim in the sea water filled pool. Then relaxed with my first Holiday Bond. - just stopped for lunch - the whole 7 courses. Off to Italian lessons next.
