Hi Jean!!!! How are you? Sorry i didn't reply sooner, have only just checked the message board for the whopping second time! Lovely to hear from you. Am coming to the end of a 2week semester break which has been wonderful. Haven't done a lot, but when you work as hard as i do.....hahahahaha!!!!! As for the sand and hot weather.....Ankara is a sprawling concrete mass with about as much soul as Boyzone...and it's under about 6 inches of snow at the moment!! Hardly the Turkey of the holiday brochures. Still had a nice weekend away in a small town about 2 hours from here. Full of barber shops, wooden houses and grubby little urchins. Seriously though, work's pretty full on what with studying DELTA part time. I quite often find myself thinking back to the good old days. Might pop back in summer. If so, definitely on for a curry. Had an awesome one just before i left in Southampton in this really unassuming place near the uni. Squid curry if you will!!!! Absolutely top hole. So how's life treating you? Enjoying retirement? Hey Peeps!!!!! So sorry it's been like, forEVERRRRRR! Bet you got plenty of that in Venice beach!!! It's semester break now so i have two weeks of absolutely nothing to do so here i am! To be honest, it's the only chance i've had to email (wanted to send you something with a bit of length...fnar fnar!) term time is just ridiculous what with DELTA and all. Anyway, enough of that old guff, onto more pressing issues! Sounds like you are having a ball. I have to say, your escapades in Vegas gave me quite a titter and as for the sunburnt feet...nice to see your flying the flag for Britain! And what medical advice!! Hello the travelling pair Fiji hey - this worlds going to be too small for your itchy feet soon. Better get onto Richard Bransen to explore the moon next! We think of you so often and love to read your "diary"!! All's well in mud island - well in Chandlers Ford anyway. John - since you've been gone I've seen BOX IT vans just about every day in Alresford! Dave's loafing and I'm working far too hard. I've got another long day in France next week, followed by Valentine's Day in Germany. Your tenant seems to be down to just him as we haven't heard the child for ages now. I also don't think he's ever stepped foot in the garden, so your plan to do the edges has worked well. Don't forget to keep pinching yourselves when you make white sand castles against an unbelievably blue sea.
