Sara, as i was wondering through Bermondsey today it suddenly occured to me, if the kids can do that so can we. I'm off to have a word with your mother about buying a blanket for the two of us and of course=nearly forgot=a pair of treking plimsoles along with a carrier bag and, with a bit of forward planning, we could get, i'm sure, at least as far as the isle of wight the only thing, i must say, that can blight my plans me is, can mummy carry the bag that far. take care luv ma +da ++

Hello oh wanders of the world HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Wow you've started it off on holiday, so may it end on a holiday too. Great to read your news - don't forget the pics sometime. I wonder if you'll ever get sick of those wide blue open skies with a gorgeous hot burning sun..... my heatings on max, windows closed to keep the draught out - which is pouring in through Mambo's entrance and I couldn't do without the electic blanket. HOWEVER, all's well in paradise as it's DEFINITELY getting lighter. I could still see my hand in front of my face at 4 p.m. today!! Sheer bliss I can tell you. Happy travels - will write soon.
