I'm finally in Thailand! Not actually done masses here, as of yet. The weather here makes you want to do so much less! It's nice coming from a comparivly cold China. My first impression of Thailand actualy was, my god its humid here!!
So anyway landed in Bangkok, managed to get to my hostel with no problems. Then procedded to get to the bus station get a bus and a boat to Koh Chang again with no problems! I was quite proud. So the first few nights i stayed in one of my 2 luxury accomadations on the trip. A really nice small sort of guest house run by an english guy right on the edge of the river, which was only 300m away from the river mouth and beach. So anyway, i went trekkeing on my first full day. It was weird in such humidity! You were i'll unfortunatly have to say, coated in sweat for the entire time. It was made more interesting in that it had been raining quite alot before i got here so it was very muddy on the very steep bits! We did get to dive into a good refershing waterfall afterwards. Our guide was also very good, it was his only job and he knew alot about the plants and managed to point out a few spiders and a snake.
The guest house i was staying owned a few canoes and lets people use them free of charge. So i thought i would be rude not to use one. I spent most of the day kayaking along the bay, and although i put on factor 40 suncream managed to get extremly burnt! My shoulders are absolutly killing me!
And finally my last adventure was snorkelling yesterday. Which was fantastic and pretty cheap to! Managed to see loads of fish, and got food prepared for us on the boat for the day. We lesuirly went around 4 bays spending about 40 mins in each one. This was also really good cuz you got to explore different bits of coral, and see different fish. I was great watching the guys on the boat feeding the fish too.
I also saw a course in scuba diving over 4 days which would have been really good. You get a basic diving card too! But money as become more of an issue, so i think ill be lazing on the beach for the next few days. What a shame!
