Morning blog fans. That last entry was long and I didn't even finish, so I'll try and keep this as short as possible. I've kinda lost where I am what with constantly being on the move but I'll try and fill you in as best as possible.
So.... We decided to leave Miami and head to Orlando to do all the theme parks etc. Booked a Hotel online and decided that the best way to get there was the Greyhound. Went out that night to Nikki Beach which is supposed to be a pretty famous place in Miami, was cool, reminded me of Opium Lounge but with Sand! Went out with a few people from the hostel to a bar round the corner and then headed back for a few more outside Jazz.
Woke up Monday morning got a cab to Downtown Miami to pick up the Greyhound and after a half hour wait we were on our six hour Journey to O Town. Bus ride was cool, got speaking to a guy from New York who had 36 odd hour journey home, sod that! Anyway turned up in Orlando got a cab to our Hotel which was the Sunstyle Suites on Orange Blossom Trail, google this place. Out of the 91 murders in Orlando this year, 21 of them have occured on Orange Blossom Trail! Should of twigged when we saw the armed police guard on duty, saying this we had no problems whatsoever, apart from crossing the eight lane motorway to get on the internet!
Had a great week in Orlando but was glad to move on and hit the open road again, this time by way of our little Rav 4 which we hired for the duration of our stay in the States. As we knew we were going to Houston the best route for us was straight across on the I 10. This basically runs from Orlando to LA which is where we are flying out of for Fiji.
Stopped in few little places along the way but the major places were New Orleans, Houston for two nights and Austin for a week.
New Orleans was quality, had an awesome night here, really nice place would love to go back, gutted I didn't get any pics of the place, but as we were only there for one night, there were more important things on the agenda!
Houston was also amazing, was great to see Maj's uncle and his family, treated us like royalty and gave a free reign of the internet. Cheers Errol much appreciated.
I've only got five minutes left so I've gotta go, man this hard!!
Anyway, we're in San Diego at the mo, staying here for one night and them making our way up the coast. I'll try and update from where ever we are next.
Take it easy.
