ok its my second day in thailand - what a culture shock. yesterday we got to our hotel at about 4.30 and our hotel is lovely, but outside there are loads of little street markets selling tshirts and jewellery and dvds etc, and some beggars, the streets are dirty with a pungant smell and i saw a great big dirty cockroack, put me right off the place lol. Today we went shopping to Sami and the shopping centres are beautiful, really clean and nice shops just like the bullring - totally different than here (sukhamvit) we went out for dinner last night, and we saw so many old men with thai girls ( probably prositutes ) its sad to see, but one guy told us in the lift that this was his third time here - im sure he is like the guys with the thai girls we saw yesterday!! Gross!!
the roads are mad, soo busy! and most people are friendly, been using thai a bit but not too much, i will start 2moro when we are in ko samui! i cant wait :) xxxx
