Your pictures look really impressive and make me want to start saving for a trip. I look forward to seeing more. I know this messageboard is about your trip but just a bit of news from this end. I passed my motorbike theory test this morning. 50 out of 50 and 70 out of 75 for the hazard perception part of the test. Woop!

I did laugh when you mentioned the wrestling moves in your blog. I will get you back for that one day when your not so far out of reach.

Yep I would definately recommend the hotel, it is so beautiful and the people are very friendly. Also Bangkok is manic and you will need the relaxed atmosphere that you get at the Nornlen. There is a mix of people both holiday makers and travellers.

Hope all is well with you and you are all sorted for your travels. We actually had 89 pictures to upload but it took 1hour and half just to do 9 pictures, we will add more when we get a better connection.

Hello to you all!

Thanks for all the messages. We have managed to survive a whole day in Bangkok now so will try to update the travel blog with stories and pictures when we find an internet connection a bit more 'robust' than the one we're on now!

We're both safe and well, no sunstroke (yet) and you have to do the sum to write on here as we only want comments from people with at least a basic level of numeracy.
