After checking out of the hostel, we headed towards the beach. The water was beutifully clear and warmed by the sun. About 20 metres accross the bay was a sand island that i was about to swim to until i saw 5 jelly fish. After seeing them i couldn't convince myself to go in. So we decided to drive own the road, as we did we picked up tourist signs again. Our detour took us towards Boorumba dam. Absolutley picturess setting, i could see the valley walls on all sides. While i made lunch, there were boats constantly coming and going from the ramp. All of a sudden i heard a rustleingbehind me, and to my surprise there was a fully grown comodo dragon. Its really quite amazing how much wild life i have seen. I', constantly seeing kangeroos in the forrest and around the beaches. Later that day as we drove towards Rainbow beach, shortly after seeing warning signs for horses there was a black stallion of a horse running within the national park forrest.
