Good morning Koh Samui. A nice, quick one hour flight to this island in the south of Thailand. We all agree it looks how we imagine Hawaii to look, very much looking forward to our stay here. Today all but one of our group will finally arrive, 12 of us in total. Hopefully over the next few days I will be able to update with some fantastic photos. Until then, xx

Three friends arrived today - Ruth, Beth and Charlie. We tried to visit the Golden Palace but it was closed for some reason :-| Fortunately we came across a nice man who organised an hour long boat ride through the city for us. We did see the Palace while on the tour, along with many river houses and temples. I video recorded a fair amount so I will also upload those soon :-) Early night tonight in prep for an early flight tomorrow!

Pretty sure I'm going to have to travel Asia now. It's amazing, love Thailand already. Went on a Tuktuk tour today, saw the Big Buddah, a couple of Buddhist temples and went to a Thai clothes factory - all for £1.40! We sat in one temple, on the floor with our shoes off of course.. a monk was there to talk and pray to/with people who waited quietly. On the way back to Khaosan (where we are staying) we passed the King's palace; it had a big moat the whole way aro...

This is a picture I took from outside our hotel. It's right in the centre of Khao San Road, pretty good location. We arrived last night and went down in to the street to explore. Got a couple of Pad Thais in us, followed by some Chang. Were offered some 'very good deal for show' - didn't take them up on these offers! Even watched a few street dancers. A very good first night, looking forward to the rest of the trip :-) xxx

Shortly I'll be setting off on the first leg of our journey - a seven hour flight to Dubai. Will be sure to keep you updated :-)
