Jillian and Grant's World Tour 2009!
On Monday 30th March we continued on to Rotorua in the North Island of New Zealand. Here it is famous for its thermal baths and spas. Very strange to walk about and have steam coming out of all the major vents in the road. In the thermal park we also got to walk a traditional Maori show and the men did the Haku which is a traditional dance used to frighten off enemies during war. In the afternoon we had free time and so we headed to a spa. We got to go into a mud bath and then thermal water. Was a lovely way to relax in the afternoon. At night the group went out for dinner. When we got back the rooms had a hot tub and so everyone got to use these before bed.
