Jessie:
Wow! Your sketches are incredible! Great job! Did you get that from your Dad?
It doesn't seem like you eat much beef. Beef would not be my first choice when going out to dinner, but in Florence you must try the bistecca. It was the best steak I ever had in my life. The restaurants cut the steak right off the cow. It sounds gross, but it was so fresh and delicious. I encourage you to try it. You and a roommate could probably share a steak. Just a warning, they serve it really rare.
IEnjoy!

Hi Jessie, I have been enjoying your posts. Let me know if you see any paintings by a female Artist from the early 1600s by the name of Artemisia Gentileschi, she was a very successful female artists when woman were typically not recognized. Also there was a lot of scandal surrounding her when she brought her rape case to trial, unheard of to be that outspoken. Very interesting lady and favorite of the Medicis! I am reading a book about her now. She enjoyed great success in Florence. Two Paintings...The Conversion of the Magdalene, and Judith and Her Maidservant are in Pitti Palace. Uffizi Gallery has her painting, Judith and Holofernes. Enjoy!!!
