GREAT OCEAN ROAD Picked up hire car on Sunday morning and headed out of Adelaide. Quick excursion up into Adelaide hills before heading south east towards coast. THE GHAN Early start on 5th July. Checked out of our hotel (OK, hostel) with backpacks, tucker etc. for long journey ahead. Shuttle bus from centre of Darwin to train terminal out of town. In haste - quick update: Just returned from a tour of two great National Parks to SE of Darwin. Waterfalls, crocodiles, much heat, aboriginal art etc. etc. - oh and big planes & motor racing in Darwin too (not 'Moror Racing' as our photo album says). We've made it to Australia. 32 hour transit from Zimbabwe was dealt with with utmost professionalism by both parties. We flew via Sydney (just because we could).
