Platypus at the Sydney Aquarium
The Sydney Aquarium had to large tunnels in it that you could walk through. They contained dugongs (cousin to the manatee), nurse sharks (which were huge), and an extremely large sting ray. Even though we thought they already looked extremely large, a sign informed us as we were exiting that the tunnel made everything look smaller, and the marine life was actually 25% larger! Beth and I agreed that the cutest fish in the aquarium was hands down the cowfish. We ate at the restaurant attached to the aquarium. I got a sweet chili chicken sandwich. Sweet chili sauce is so popular in Australia (even Subway serves it). A free chocolate paddle pop came with my meal as well!
