This is where we ate the first night we were in Sydney. It is located on Darling Harbor. Even though I didn't order an entire meal with it, I tried kangaroo for the first time here. Kangaroo meat is less than two percent fat and very lean. Therefore, although it is very good for you, it is served almost rare because cooking it further would turn it to a leather-like texture. It has a good flavor but is very squishy. In order to put kangaroo on a plate, it takes about 80 percent less carbon dioxide than other standard meats, making it very environmentally friendly as well. There is actually a group called kangatarians (vegetarians who eat kangaroo). We also discovered sweet chili sauce here. Severed all of Australia, it is one of the best tasting sauces I have ever had.
