This was our last stop before our tour concluded in Christchurch once again. Here, we found the National Kiwi Centre where we finally got to see an actually kiwi bird! It was definitely larger than any of us expected and was kept in a dark room. The centre also had a kiwi bird egg that seemed to be half the size of the bird.
