We arrived into Varanasi this morning after a 12 hour train journey. It wasn't too bad, had a nice cabin for just the two of us, and managed to get a fair bit of sleep. We got to the hotel about 8am- very nice, overlooking the Ganges. We had breakfast on the rooftop (there is a restaurant up there- we didn't just climb up ourselves with a picnic!) and watched some monkeys (and goats!) scampering about on the rooftops. Hi everyone! Sorry for lack of updates recently- we've been spending a lot of time on trains, sight-seeing, etc. so not much time for computers! You can stop your uneccessary panic attack, Annabel- WE ARE FINE! Arrived into Jaisalmer today at 6pm- our train was 6 hours late!
