Nan has just called and asked me to add this message for you ....
Hi Sal - Pleased to hear from your Mum and Dad that you are still having a great time and enjoyed seeing the orang utans. I envy you but not with all the creepy crawlies. I went with Joy to see Mamma Mia this week and then for something to eat at Frankie and Bennys - we had a lovely time. Going out with Jodie and Oscar today for lunch which I am looking forward to. Miss you and you are always in my prayers. Love you Sal, Nan xxx

Hi Sal
How you doing?! Just caught up on your photos, looks like you're having fun! Not much to report here - started college again it's as boring as ever but hey only one more year! Paul's started teaching his military fitness classes and has nearly finished his qualification. Josh is enjoying middle school - so far, he's lost his bus pass, lost his keys and lost his blazer (but he found that again)!!!! He's a nightmare! got your text to say your were on a remote island in Malaysia - sounds divine - wish i was with you!
Anyway - take care and keep enjoying yourself! i'll email you to keep you updated with the wedding plans!

Hi Sal - clearly the good times continue. Well done. You look so happy in the pics - if a little decadent at times!!! Glad someone has treated you to some luxury and good food and that you've found those lovely beaches. My list of "must-see" places grows with your travels. I'm still in there with you and have just visited Shanghai - looks good. All well in watchet. Just back from a long w/e in Inverness at the wedding of Dave's niece. Scotland is so lovely but guess it lacks the eastern flavour - but we did have some super scottish crab! Keep enjoying and we're there with you for the long haul - and loving it. Much love Sal - Jan x

Hi Sal Back on track with you after my 11 days in France - really lovely as usual but doesn't have the cachet of Laos. I was very interested in hearing your account of this as a friend of mine trekked here and said it was the most beautiful place she'd ever visited - and she's a seasoned traveller. I'm going to add it to my "must-see" places but will avoid your guest-house. Bit concerned about nan's blog. She showed me her new specs and hearing aid but never mentioned her quest for a new man!! Guess she knows what she's doing. Are you keeping a weather graph? Seems to me you've had more than average rain. Hope you're now moving towards some sunnier climes. It does all look very exotic and your enthusiasm shines through your blog. Take good care and if you feel a shadow behind you it's just me trying to keep up. Lots of love sal. Jan xx

Hi Sal
Just looked at your latest pictures - I am going to get Mum to get one printed off for me. Seen Emma's wedding pictures too and you all look so lovely.
I am off to find myself a new man now that I have new glasses and my hearing aid fixed so that if he whispers sweet nothings I will now be able to hear him!
Take care, love you very much and miss you - Nan xxx
