On the way down to Phuket we had to stop off in Bangkok again so we had a night out with Russell and Ed that we'd previously met in China. Good to see you boys!

Patong is quite a funny place really... prostitutes and old/young men parade Bangla Road (the main street). We don't think the place has too much else to offer apart from the lovely beach and a good place to have a drinking session!

Luckily that's what was on the cards as we were we all getting together for Vicki's Birthday! An added arrival, Soph came to join us there too which was fab. We had the girls out in force!

To our surprise, Soph offered to treat us to a fancy hotel which was music to our ears! We checked into a swanky hotel with a jacuzzi that lead into the pool off our patio. We spent most of the time around the pool, lying on our extremely comfortable beds or soaking in a very large bath!

We all went out for Vic's birthday which was fun. Christie's friend Big Rich came out too (out with 5 girls-poor him!). A good night all round!

Once Vic and Christie left, Soph booked us into a very posh resort in Phuket, we had our own villa and plunge pool - oh how the other half live! We went out for a meal with Soph and her boyfriend, Nick. Lovely evening apart from the frogs croaking in the background, they're really loud and annoying!!!

Great to meet up with soph again! We miss you already.....

We're off to Langkawi Island in Malaysia next!
