Just wanted to tell you that I finished reading A Thousand Splendid Suns last night (well actually about 3am this morning!!!). I know that you liked it - I thought it was a great story, and couldn't stop reading it once I got started. Now I've got to decide what to read next!

News from Austria: Oli and I are going to India in September - we're really excited about it and I'm gonna try and get some literature from there as well (providing there will be enough time!)

And you got the sky dive in earlier than I expected you to, so I hadn't started to worry about that yet - many thanks!

Glad the photos of China have reappeared on here - where did they go to? Look forward to seeing some more when you have a bit more free time!

Life at home trogs on pretty much as always. Fi, Mags & I had a lovely time in Scotland. And I went with Soph to Wimbledon on Monday and had a good time there too. Dad's been in Germany for 3 days. But apart from that..... Weather pretty good at the moment but it's Glastonbury this weekend so you can imagine what the forecast is!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy Alice Springs and Uluru - I envy you Uluru too. That one's still on my "to do" list!

Not sure you are doing enough on this trip (lol). If you got up at 7:30 every morning you'd get a lot more in!! ( Just teasing I am very impressed at the time you are getting up as I know you are not exactly a morning person!). It sounds like you are having an amazing time. Can't wait to see the pics and the DVD.
Mum Fi and I had a great time in Scotlamd I even got a little sun burnt!!

You did a sky dive! Are you mad!? Tee hee. Well done! That's amazing. Did you get to snorkle on the reef? Did you have nice weather? Did you visit White Haven Beach?

I know it's tough as the wake ups are so early, but it does mean you get to see a lot of the country (even with a hangover!) What's your morning song on the bus?
