Bex, Thanks for your e-mail. I am soooooo jealous. What fab photos! I so wished I'd done what you two are doing when I could ... no chance now, I don't even get 5 minutes to myself. Oh, how I would love to be in NZ right now [... daydreams]. Where will you be for Christmas and New Year? Wishing you both a continued brillant time, meeting lots of interesting people (maybe a bungee jump or two in there?). Have fun and stay safe! What a wonderful set of photos! We've just sat and looked through them several times and gawped at them - these, together with your e-mails, really do make us all so jealous. It seems that the Africa trip was absolutely perfect for you - so much variety, lots to do, good company and such luxury too!! This set of phots will now become the equivalent of getting the albums out whenever friends come round - they'll be seen by everyone we know!

It also seems as if you really are enjoying yourselves - which, after all, is what it was all about.

Hello everyone, thank you for all your messages so far. We're now in New Zealand & its a bit chilly, especially as Perth was so hot! Tho I'm guessing still not as cold as home, hee hee! :-)

Lyd - I'm looking forward to meeting Enya in feb, cant believe she'll b 4 months old by then! Hope she's being good for u.

Mum & Steve - yes we did see a willy, a huge one belonging to an elephant! I havent come across anywhere that does camera repairs yet, the zoom bit wont go in anymore so it wont let me take pics, i'm sure it could b fixed tho.

Hi girls, great to hear it's all going well, looks like the scenery and wildlife are a good distraction from the weight of the backpacks. From here it sounds like it's an amazing place, Thatcham high street will never seem the same! So, lots of Big - wild - animals, in stunning scenery, sounds terrific. (Mum wondered if you got to see any of their willies!). Hope all the kits holding up, John said you may have problem with the camera, if it's hassle, bin it and get another, we'll pay for it when you get back.
