Glad to hear that you are adjusting even though you are confronted with challenges.
Are the classes you are taking demanding in terms studying? Are they conducted in English and Spanish?
I am looking forward to your hearing about your experience at Carnaval. Well enjoy your day and all that it has to offer.

Hi Jenna,
Thanks for the blog and new photos. I'm checking in every week to see what new adventures you're up to. That goat cheese dish sounds amazing. I wonder if we can get it over here? I'm gonna have to have Allie look at your photos so she can decipher the language for me. :) Stay safe!

Hola Jenna,
Just checking in for updates of your adventure. I imagine that you are very busy and tired. It takes a lot of energy to process English into Spanish as well as keep up with the required assignments. Take care of yourself, I think of you every day and I continue to be very happy for this opportunity of your life.
I agree with your mom about keeping in touch on the blog.
For me to write this in Spanish would have taken me a very long time.
Adios y carino.

My tutor told me the first day we met that when we dream in the language that we are studying we have mastered it. I hope this becomes true for you and for me.
Adios y carino.

I thought a blog was a dog with blonde hair until I read yours. I had no idea...BTW, Toby says Hi! He misses you and so do I. i cried when I read your first email from Madrid. it reminded me of my first time in Europe away from my family in a new and foreign place, so rich with history where every you turn. Constantly discovering everything, including yourself. Enjoy ...we are all with you. Much love, YourDad.com

Hi Jenna! I'm finding your photos and stories fascinating. Are those painted cows like the ones here in the US; decorated by famous people? What was the el escorial? Maybe if I understood spanish, I would know. Anyway, it looks like you're having the time of your life!
Love, Aunt Kathy

Where are your stories???

Hey Jen-
I was bored so I started reading someone else's blog who is also a student traveling in Spain. Anyway.. he mentioned that he got a phone through a company called Yoigo and that they had the best international plan (cheapest). Also, that Feb is a good month to get phones cuz it's a bad time for the phone companies (don't really know why this is). I know you may only need a SIM card, but thought I'd mention this in case you can use this info. See ya! xoxo
