Good morning VietnamWell, the flight was on time to Hanoi, Vietnam, and thats about as good as this place got! I hated Hanoi, its a big city with a whole load of unfriendly people, and lots of scam artists! Im sure nice people live here, but I didnt meet any. Got ripped off a bit here too which is never good. Once I got out of Hanoi thou things were much better. We (Me, Jon, Dore, Andy) booked a trip to a place called halong bay and it was beautiful! It was a boat trip 3 days 1 night on a boat and one night on an island. We were really lucky to have amazing people on the boat, we visited some caves, did some kyaking and on the evening got amazingly drunk! Our boat was defo the party boat, one man even jumped off his boat at 1am and swam over to ours to join in. Fantastic time, ace people and beautiful scenary to drink siagon beer!After that we tried to go down south, but unfortunatly the places we wanted to visit were all flooded. There had been lots of deaths and most of the hotels were still underwater, so the only way to get south was to fly. So we took a flight down to a place called Nha Trang, im sure that this place would have been lovely if the weather was nice but unfortunatley all it did was rain. It flooded while we were there but only up to knee height. I have no photos of this place as cant take a bag out on a night as you will get robbed by the gangs of prossies that are about after dark! Nice eh! Me and Jon then had to say bye to Dore and Andy!, very emotional, as they had more time in Vietnam than we did, so we headed off down to Siagon. From here we saw the cu chi tunnels, which are the tunnels that the vietnamese are famous for using against America. There amazing, the enterance is tiny far to small for any western person to fit down. You can crawl through the origional tunnels, thanks to a wide ass opening that has been created. They are tiny, I have no idea how these people lived down there for so long. Also there me and Jon decided to have a little target practice with an AK47 and M16. My shot is terraible! Good laugh thou.After this we headed off to Cambodia, and thats were I am writting from now, so far so good here.Missing people lots now!Love
