sisters on tour
Wow, a whole month travelling around and what a time we had too, I have already lost count of the places we drove through but we started off in Auckland where we picked up our travel buddy James. We hired a car (nicknamed Bob) and set off for the trip of a lifetime. We started in Rotaroua where we did the Geothermal park and continued down the East coast until we arrived in Wellington. We saw some amazing things and scenery along the way and had a huge night out on the town after watching the rugby. Even managed to meet some of the players too though i dont remember much as we were just sooo pissed. We finally managed to cross to the south island on the ferry after it had been closed for the weekend due to bad weather and continued our journey south along the east coast and through the longest place name in the world. We stopped off in Queenstown for 4/5 days and did the world's original bungy, as well as some scenic sights, horseriding through the lord of the rings sets though it was really cold and wet that day and we didnt have a great time. We carried on then heading north this time back to Auckland where we started off though drove up the west coast through the glaciers which were stunning. Back on the ferry after having visited Nelson and a few other places and stayed the night again in windy wellington before making our way back. The lakes are the most amazing things we have seen. So picturesque with turquoise blue water, fern trees and snow capped mountains in the background. Then, off to Sydney to continue our adventures - yippppeeeee
