We started off thinking it was going to be a 5k day, got there (Larrasoaña), felt good so kept going til Arre on the outskirts of Pamplona. Day 3 - Roncevalles to Zubiri, 22km, crisp, sunny spring day, wonderful day to walk, started off before sunrise (see pic) and got here about 1 pm - footsore and weary. Hola amigos - so today we stepped out on the real deal - Camino Frances. 1200 years of pilgrims all walking the same trail - I'm not used to that much historia. And who knows why?
