A short catchup before we move on. Two nights in a so so hotel in the heart of the old part of Burgos. The cathedral dominates a beautiful plaza full of bars and cafes. They started building it in 11th century but it has been added to and altered over the centuries. All very gothic and gold. Some lovely stained glass windows. We met some pilgrims from our travels and greet each other like long lost friends.
We’ve been using the app to translate into Spanish and if I show them the screen instead of trying to say it we get by kind of.
The weather has been so really good but promises cooler with rain later today. Can’t grumble though it is spring.
