The Stadthuys: Built in 1690 as the official resisdence of Dutch Governers and their officers, the edifice is a fine example of Dutch architecture. Preserved in its orginal structure and form, it now houses the History Museum and Ethnography Museum. (NB everything is closed on Mondays - as we found out)
