Arrived in Copiapo after an overnight bus from San Pedro. The bused in Chile are so efficient and in good shape its a nice change. Copiapo was a suprisingly large city with the customary plaze and probably the most afluent and commercial stop yet. Manages to watch the Champions League final (only place showing it was a hot dog restaurant!) better luck next time Lee. Another night bus to La Serena (means we dont have to pay for accomodation and we sleep on the bus! (and you thought we had it good). We stayed in La S for a couple of days because travelling all the time was begining to take it's toll. Did normal things like shopping, eating take away pizza and buying pants! Went for a long walk along the beach and picked up 2 dogs, one who liked to chase cars and one who liked to attack joggers! Nearly got in a row with the American jogger who got bitten when he thought it was our dog! We had to run and hide from the dogs in the end as we could not get rid of them, must of looked like a couple of nutters. Tomorrow we think we are going to head inland to visit Pisco Elqui where they make one of our new favourite drinks PISCO!
