world tour!!! go for it, just give yourself more time and experience. You have three more weeks to hang around in Europe. Are you staying in Italy for a while or do you go to Spain? In Spain you can practise your Spanish.

The bike tour I went on had a tour guide who managed to give us the whole history and everything about the wall. We saw the wall and so much more. It really hits you when you have someone describing everything to you. We want to go back to some of these places but we might not have time...such a redundant problem...
And its not the money problem with the blog, its the time and availability of a computer. When we were in Paris we were staying in 2 star hotels and they didn´t have the internet so we had to go on a hunt for a cafe and we didn´t want to waste too much time out of our day...

I read your travelogue with great interest...when I lived in Germany Berlin was a divided city.I always
wanted to see the Brandenburg Gate.
Ah Florence, an other city I would visit anytime, so enjoy yourself. Mika

Babi? Peter Pan ? I believe that's Neverland not Berlin.
Sounds like everything is going well - Wes looks like a sweetheart and I am glad the 2 of you are getting along so well. We always needed a big brother for you guys. Tell him when he meets Babi that he's in charge of geography lessons.
And - if the cost is preventing you from blogging - I will make an executive decision and allow credit card purchases for blogging... I feel so much more relaxed when I can read these... Money well spent, eh Petesie?
Berlin sounds facinating - I have always been curious about that city with its cold war history and all. I imagine you have seen remnants of the wall? What is that like? And thank God it is only a memory.
you may now say Ich bin ein Berliner with more conviction than Dad. ;-)
Love you sweet girl

say hi to peter pan for me!!
Mika
thank you for the nice long-blog... it is nice that you have a "military escort". I heard your short audio messege you sent to your father.
I am looking forward to your next blog from Berlin. Where next after Berlin?

Just got back from a big day at the beach. Mika and Bapa came for breakfast, then I took down the little smoker and made ribs. Alana and I went swimming three times. I missed you today but got your email greeting card and felt much better. Hope you're having fun in Paris!
Mom
On to Paris - how cool...
Yes, Daddy is wearing that shirt at the beach right now. Garrett and Patrick hooked up a tv to watch golf, and Daddy is smokin' some ribs. So, it is father's day in Bow Mar. I'll be heading down in a bit with salads (but we do miss you sweet girl).
love ya - Mom

Happy Father´s Day all! Or really only Dad and Bapa. I hope you all are having fun at the beach and know that I´m there in spirit. I can already see Dad wearing his handprint shirt :)
Mika
wounderful that you love Salzburg. THE MUSIC FESTIVAL DOES NOT STARTED YET BUT MAYBE YOU CAN FIND AN OUTDOOR CONCERT IN A PUBLIC PARK

While your in Salzburg, see if you can find a Mozart performance at a reasonable price. A string quartet or something. I'll pay. Real violins heard close-up will give you goosebumps.
