Day 70 Arrived in Melbourne late afternoon, we hadn't booked anything but knew a few people who we had met in Alice who were staying at Nomads so decided to go there. Its so easy getting from the airport to the city as there is a bus 'skybus' that runs every 20 minutes which takes you to a bus terminal and from there you get a smaller bus which takes you straight to your accommodation. Day 60We arrived in Sydney at around 9.30am after a 16 hour bus journey from Brisbane. we are staying just outside of the city center in a town called Chullora which was a 40 minute train and bus ride away. Day 53-59 ChristmasArrived in Brisbane at about 4pm on the 23rd December, only took a few hours from Noosa on the greyhound. We are staying with Lauren's auntie and her 2 girls in a place called Mount Glorious (about 50 minutes from the centre of Brisbane). Day 49 We survived the 15 hour coach trip from Airlie and are now in Rainbow beach which means we have less than a week until Christmas. We are missing all the lovely snow at home and can't believe this year will probably be a white Christmas at home...the first one in how many years? Day 44 Arrived in Airlie Beach after taking a ferry into Townsville then a 3 hour coach journey down the east coast with Greyhound. Airle looks like such a party beach, cant enjoy it too much tonight though because we are heading out on our 3 day sailing adventure around the Whitsunday Islands tomorrow.
