Another decent drive today to get to Barn Hill Station. About 140km south of Broome. We decided to push further these last few days to keep a couple of days ahead of schedule thinking we might need a couple of extra days after Broome. Arrived at Pardoo Station yesterday after leaving Karijini. Did some other lookouts in the national park during our stay but glad to be off the dirt roads and heading out. Into Karijini today and camping in the national park. We were here by 10 and decided to pack lunch and walk into Dales Gorge. We thought maybe a walk to a couple of the look outs and hopefully into the gorge at one point to see circular pool. But after getting to circular pool Tully was still keen and loving the challenging walk up and down rock faces, over water and through bushes. Slow start savouring the last few hours in Paraburdoo. Really liked the town feeling at home with its similarities to a military base. Into Tom Price just before lunch. More amazing scenery with the caravan park at the base of Mt Nameless. A busier town than Paraburdoo but still completely centred around mining. We managed to catch a look at the kilometre plus long trains carrying iron ore moving through town. Keen to get into Karijini tomorrow
