Today was Australia Day and we celebrated with vegemite on toast! Today was also Game Day!!! Up early again to head to Etosha national park to go wildlife spotting. Another early start...... Traveling past Brandberg Mountain, the tallest mountain in Namibia at 2573m. Our first stop was a traditional village of Himba people just out of Kamanjab. The women in these tribes paint themsleves in ochre mixed with animal fat as a beauty regime. They never shower and continue to live in mud huts. After a leisurely morning checking out the shops in Swakopmund and waiting for the truck to be fixed we hit the road after lunch.
