This picture has all the mosque must-haves: the qibla wall, which is the wall that faces Mecca, the direction which Muslims face while praying; the mihrab, the decorative niche at the central point of the qibla wall; the minbar, which is the small stairwell to the right of the mihrab, and serves as a pulpit for the imam; and the dikka, which looks somewhat like scaffolding in this picture, and from which the qadi (basically, the helper of the imam) repeats the imam's messages to the masses.
