Today we swapped campsites and drove to a small beach town called Moana. We set up and got ready to go to the beach. After the beach we had a salad sandwich and then we read some books because it was really hot outside. We had tea and then went to the beach for the second time.

Today is our second day at McLaren Vale. In the morning we had a quick breakfast then drove to a town called Noarlunga to try and get some accessories for the roof rack that holds our kayaks. After that we went to Maslin Beach where we tried out our new snorkels we got for Christmas. We spent about one and a half hours in the water and then we went to have lunch at Willunga. After we had finished lunch we drove back to our campsite we had another swim in the pool...

Today we are driving from Hahndorf to McLaren Vale. They are approximately about an hour apart and we saw lots of bike riders on the way.  When we arrived at McLaren Vale we went to check in at our Top Tourist park accommodation. Dad, Fraser and I went into the office and they told us that the site wasn’t ready yet because they were watering the lawn. So we went shopping for groceries and then had a coffee at a chocolate shop. Later we returned to our site at ...

Today we drove to Stirling in the Adelaide Hills to escape the heat. At Stirling we had a coffee at Ruby's Organic Cafe (see photo gallery). After having had a look in the bookshop and purchasing a few books we drove to the Mount Lofty botanic gardens but they were closed due to the fires. We ended up having lunch just outside the gardens. Then we headed for the Beerenberg family farm. There we picked our own strawberries.

Our second day at Hahndorf and I woke up at 8:00 am. It is forecasted to be an average of 42°c for most of the day so we are heading into town before it gets too hot. After that we went back to the caravan and relaxed. Soon it was lunch time. Mum made salad sandwiches. Soon after lunch we read a book and then went to the pool with mum for another hour. Next we went for a shower. At around 9:00 pm in SA time which is 8:30 pm in VIC time we went to bed.
