After some final shopping in Margaret River we drove north to Geographe Bay and the town of Busselton. It's a busy holiday destination with many caravan parks, but we are staying in one with a great water slide and 3 pools. There are even ducks and seagulls swimming in the pools when it's quiet with swimmers.

Today we visted a fun park south of Margaret River called Amaze'N. It had several mazes and some required us to think carefully about how to complete them without going around and around on the same path. We played games of bocce and quoits and had lots of fun.

Today we visited Augusta and Cape Leeuwin at the south west tip of Western Australia. The lighthouse at the Cape is the second tallest on mainland Australia and is where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean. We spied a number of dolphins playing in the waves. After lunch we went on a tour of Jewel Cave which had great displays of limestone cave formations. After a morning of schoolwork we headed to some of the local attractions and enjoyed a vist to the Margaret River Chocolate Company and the Margaret River Dairy Company. Both had free tastings and even more to buy - the tough decision was deciding just what to buy! Mum enjoyed visting a couple of wineries.

Lots of overnight rain and a wet day as we left Manjimup and headed west towards the coast. Morning tea at the Blackwood Cafe in Nannup was very nice and we then headed on a "backroad" recommended by Fraser to save time - it was a great road and we made it to our destination at Cowaramup by lunchtime.
