We left Castle Douglas in Scotland after spending two lovely nights there at the Urr Valley Hotel. We went off the beaten track to see what Laurieston Scotland had in common with the Lauriston we live in, back in Australia. Well, it turns out plenty!! We met this fantastic guy who owns & runs a little Art Gallery. He was bowled over when we told him that we were from Lauriston Australia. We spent an hour chatting with him that& his family . We made a real connection.
