Our map is not acurate as we didn't get a gps reading from Pescara. Also, we went form Ascoli Piceno to Bologna via Ancona and then down to Florence. Not sure if we can change that!

Well, it was a great train trip from Ascoli Piceno to Florence. Once again a few hickups but nothing we couldn't get around. Florence is lovely & the hotel is ok, we hope! Pasta & wine for tea tonight, again!

This town is fantastic! We spent the afternoon exploring down narrow alleyways and marvelling at the historic architecture. The locals are very helpful. We wish we could spend a week here, however tomorrow we head to Florence.

Today we took the train to The Vatican. Totally impressed with the Pope's abode. Very grand! Spent some time in an art gallery viewing a great exhibition by some old masters . Tomorrow morning we are catching a train to Pescara on the Adriatic Sea.
