My apologies for the absence of regular updates. I've not had a chance to go to the internet cafe to post. We don't have internet here at Ebi's house and I'm currently typing on his brothers phone which is a pain. Everything has been has been fine. Arrived yesterday in Istanbul on the first part of my journey, where Ebi met me at the airport. Since pork is unavailable in Iran, he asked if I could buy a sandwich and bring it with me.
