.....probably be a better supporter if I could spell Croatia!
There sems to be a bit of talk about visits to the States for a meet early next year; half term in Herts is 16th to 20th Feb..........!

Thanks for the latest update, all sounds good, hope the job hunting is successful. Big pull-out in the paper today for Euro 2008 - shall I support Crotia?!
Sad household today with the loss of one of the guinea pigs.........
Just done a lengthy mail to you, take care.

Hi hi hi!!
9.30am here on Saturday (you can be impressed that I'm up already!) Just HAD to write on here as I enjoyed reading all the postings so much. Melbourne is AWESOME and we're desperate to show it off to people, so if anyone fancies poping over...?!
Anyway, you can start forgetting the sun-kissed Rois Chi as (what with it being the other side of the world and all) it's autumn / winter here - brrr!
We're doing well with getting settled - great house and housemates. Bank accounts, Aussie numbers, hair cuts, learning the city, and handing out CVs. James is doing well on the job front, mine are more slow burners so we'll see.
Our local here is ... an Irish bar!! we went last night and had the craic! I asked about jobs too and it was all rather positive (of course I played the 'I'm Irish' card!) but you have to get a qualification here before you can serve alcohol anywhere, so hoping to do that beginning of next week.
Lots of love to everyone as always. I'll go kick James out of bed to get blog-writing!! Love you xxxxxx

G'day ramblers!
Hope you are both well and enjoying yourselves. Thanks so much for the lovely presents; I love love love my pad - I will use it for musings, planning and spontaneous self-portraits!
A few questions I'd love to hear the answers to...
1. What are Australians like?
2. What's the most interesting thing you've learned about each other?
3. Which has been your favourite abode and why?
4. Is it ethically dodge in the current 'credit crunch' era to get a credit card and jump on a flight to America next year to visit?
Lots of love
Ed

Hi Rois & James,
How are things down under? Thanks for all the photos-its a great way to cheer up when i'm having a bad afternoon at work-I just click on & see you both looking so happy & healthy-can't quite get used to the sun-kissed Rois!Just getting ready for bank holiday weekend here-having a quiet one in anticipation of your Mum coming over for a few days next week-Tony thinks its great as now he doesn't have to sit through sex & the city movie!Don't know how Noons will feel about that one.I'm home alone for the week-no,tony isn't fighting off the drug barons, hes in the med on sailing trip-just got a text from him saying it was "fat frog friday" so you can imagine the rest.A pal of his from Cobh that is working in Palma has been working on U2 yacht for the past few weeks so Tony reckons hes going to meet all the lads!!I'll keep you posted-you never know your aunt throwing Roy Keane out of nightclub story could be beaten into second place!!
Anyway, better go & do a bit of work.Looking forward to hearing about Melbourne (&Singapore).Good luck with the job hunting-back to reality........(ps thanks for the postcard, you still can't beat snail mail)
Love Chi.x

Hi there travelling dudes! Can't believe you're in Australia already - it's all gone so quickly so far I guess it'll be good to settle down for a bit?! Keep us updated on the job search - I desperately want to hear that Rois is working in an Irish bar somewhere wearing an irish dancing outfit and developing her Irish accent?!
Probably neither of you will be interested in this, but i went to see the new Indiana Jones film last night and it was rubbish. Really rubbish. Just so you know.
Ooh, excitingly though I'm moving house this weekend/week to a new flat which is very cool and I can't wait! Although I am beginning to appreciate the merits of having fewer possessions, considering this'll be the 5th move in 6 months. Oh joy.
Miss you both like Indiana would miss his hat xxxx

HI Both (will you be meeting up with Claire again in Oz?) Great to read the latest blog but I'm still keen to fingd out about the best day ever (James). Good day in France yesterday and a full 12 hours sun spread over yesterday afternoon and this morning! Grace and Amy kept us entertained on the road back from Dover by remembering stuff from St Joseph's - much, much lovely laughter! I've booked Milly in to The Bunnery - would I lie to you?! for our hol in July! His idea! Who's going to break it to Milly? This is a hotel for pet rabbits. I can't wait to meet the sort of people that would run such a place! Going for a prelim visit tomorrow, just to make sure we're happy with it! It's like finding a playgroup for a toddler! Very weird! Photos: Rois, are you suffering from backpack envy! Don't compete, leave him to it! Enjoy yourselves. Love Bernie/Mum.

had an ace weekend at gatecrasher, main stage got rained out on teh sunday, was ridiculously wet, but all gd times.
thought my mouth was going to fall off when i put a smidge too much hot pepper sauce on my jerk chicken after a few bevvies, the people on the stall were like 'thats not ketchup you know' oh i did realise this, wooooooo spicy! then after a few agonizing mouthfuls, which i was determined to battle through, the mighty wind stole it right from my hands flat in the mud, it just wasn't meant to be.
as key said below, we off to prague this weekend, bagsy some sun! only 8 days left at work, ahh, getting scary now, shef time is going far too quickly!

Hi all! Glad to hear Claire got to you safe and sound! It must be so nice to see a familiar face! Latest blog sounds awesome - loving the sound of Rois' admirer - I assume there was lots of giggling involved at that point?! Off to Prague on Fri so looking forward to that - not quite as exotic as your travels but I'm starting slowly!
