HIDDY HI!!! Well, as soon as I get an *actual* job, you all get writing hey?! Love it.
James has just headed out to work, and I'm working at 8.30 so just quickly checking in on web-based developments.
So yeah, the new job has been more than hectic. Worked late every night meaning I did a 40 hour week. Shocking. We are the administrators for a massive company called Bills Express who went bust and had controlled all bill paying through internet, phone and newsagent ... and itunes cards ... and mobile top ups..! So you can imagine how many people are affected, and they're all calling me - the sole receptionist! It's been true madness, but everyone's been really nice and assure me it won't go on too long. Has made me sure I don't want to be in accounts though Niamho - people just devote their lives to it. No thanks.
Loving all the messages, we had a big read of them all today! I think I"m going to be pulling my first pint tonight (although, they don't know it's my first EVER pint of course!), James has been giving me theoretical tuition today so I'm sure I'll be dandy. Best head off, will reply properly to everyone once I have a job that allows me time to think! Lots of love, happy weekend xxxxxxxxxx

beano and mole - eo!
how are you my dears? how's your first week been in the land of accountancy rois - ready to join me in the love of all things excel and numbers?!!
my news is as follows:
ed gets back today after a week away which will be lovely, have missed him alot. he really enjoyed spain with the year 9 kids - was swimming and cycling, and snorkelling (will have to compare notes!) and sunning himself - he also managed to miss the 'london monsoon' (rained all day and night but still not as bad your pair's graduation day!) he also managed to jump in the swimming pool with his mobile in his pocket (they don't just give away firsts from manchester uni, you have to be really bright!) so another o2 phone hits the dust!
i shouldn't really mock ed's stupidity because in true mcgrory fashion i managed to lose my wallet so have spent the morning cancelling cards! fortunately have one bank card that i keep out of my wallet so not penniless in london!
trailwalker is only a week away and we are all getting very very nervous. got support crew info sorted though and a timing schedule and another trip to decathlon to spend money on sports gear - another 50 big ones - this is an expensive charity walk! we've got several new things on our blog http://bloodybigwalk.blogspot.com/ with some more photos. we've topped 3 grand in fundraising which is great! for anyone who is interested, you can sponsor us at www.justgiving.com/teamtreed (sorry for the plug!!)
got a quiet weekend planned, anna's birthday so going for a non-alcoholic dinner! anyway, this msg is reaching epic length so must go. enjoy friday and the weekend, and how did you get on in the quiz. miss you so so so much,
big hugs and love x
Pa Mole

Bad news - the FA have decided that Luton will start next season with a 30 point deduction. Shame!!
Been down the White Hart tonight.........it was open mike night; interesting!
Speak soon.........

Hi Rois & James,
Sorry for not being on in a while, wuold love to tell you thats because of my hectic social life but alas, no, been hectic but only with work.......working late (?!)at the mo so I'm taking a quick break to catch up on "blog" news.Belated congratulations on the job-can't wait to hear how your first week went & whether you'll have any wages left after your "shopping" lunches!By the time you get this you'll be having your first thank crunchie its friday day for a while-enjoy.How are James' shifts fitting in around yours?I'm sure you'll find some time for socialising anyway.I'll be meeting your mum & sis on sunday for birthday lunch for Mother in Roscommon.A bit of a carbon footprint with all of us travelling from all over but it will be nice for most of us to be there for her big day-I'll give her a hug for you.No real news from Cork-our annual gigs @ the marquee finished on monday & we got a few free gigs from the comfort of our garden depending on what way the wind was blowing-some better than other & some we could have done without-paul simon, paul weller, eric clapton, shayne ward, pink, meatloaf, jayz(must admit I didn't know who he was until the night!) & neil young-who needs oxygen or glastonbury,eh.I must say the best part of it is people watching & seeing who turns up(& wearing what!)-which reminds me-dolly parton was there too-she has some diverse fan base!!Tony is home at the moment for a few days,Summer months are busy for him but he is home most weekends which is grand.
Anyway,my tea is finished & my work is not so I'd better sign off for now.Love to you both & keep enjoying yourselves.
Take care,
Chi.
Katy
Hello hello....
for all following the get Katy a job saga here's the latest: didn't get job number one (admin assistant in building firm), sent application for the better paid temp job which I'm highly unqualified for but did some major blaggage (oh yes, as a language graduate I'm highly familiar with databases, spreadsheets and whole lotta other terms I don't understand!) and found out today that I've got an interview for a job that actually uses all 4 of my lanaguages - just happens to be telesales which is poo. That's all for now, will let you know any advances.
Clapham was AMAZING, such a good house party and so many people and Lucy's flat is brilliant and her housemates are great and all brothers plus Catherine and James' boyf who is also called James (lol!) so was great to chat to them and Lucy's James was there (all very confusing, it's a damn good job you weren't there James!) My train got cancelled coming back on Sunday night so got to stay another night and go on an uber fancy train first class on the Monday am - was a tiddly bit scared going on the tube on the anniversary of July 7th but of course all was fine. The amount of freebies when travelling first class is just immense - you would have just exploded Rois - "more smoked samon and scrambled egg madam?" Hell yes!
Brad's coming to graduation! yay! cannot wait, bought the outfit the other day - high waisted black pencil skirt with tucked in white shirt and heels - aaaaaaaaaaah so excited. (have been pratising walking up and down stairs in the shoes!)
Fact for the day: earthworms have 5 hearts.
LOVE xxxx
oooh ps, seen as Weight watchers sponsors neighbours and I go to ww and neighbours is in melbourne there's a competition to win tickets to melbourne - bagsy I win yeah?

Hey. I'm a teacher. A proper grown up (pretend grown up) teacher. I've gone conservative. The game is up. All over now. Last stop for fun.
But this will not be my life. I pact you that. I pact you. Right now.
Thank you for the email: it's all in the attention to detail. I will respond likewise anon. I think I need a lie down.
Someone told me today how awesome Melbourne is so now i believe you triplefold! Yes.
Glad to hear you're so well and happy. Lots of love xxxxxx

Hey Roisin and James!
Rois don't panic hun, I will be back on facebook, it's just temporary and it's a long story!
Hope you guys are happy and settled in Melbourne, how is everything? I am supply teaching here on Newcastle for some much needed money, (I earn £100 a day!?!) and it's actually pretty good! Full of surprises - today I walked in to find I'm teaching maths to years 7 ans 8?! Not my speciality! Apart from that not an awful lot is happening man, I'm moving back to Nuneaton in a couple of weeks which I'm surprisingly looking forward to a bit! Then I'll just be jobhunting etc - all good fun! Hoping to make lots of visits to the Shaws in Nottingham too!
Missing you lots, hope you're having a wonderful time down under. Be in touch soon xxxx

Well done Roisin, sounds fab. Just come back from some acting teaching I've been doing this week - so a little money to add to the fund! Haven't heard about the job that I went for an interview for yesterday, I presume I'll hear on Monday. Got that annoying thing though where you interview for one job and then find another job that's much better and an extra £1.50 an hour so I'm in a way hoping not to get the first job but then who says I'll get the second one!? Very confusing. Also, the first one isn't a temp job - i made up a (hopefully convincing) lie about why I'm a languages graduate wanting to do admin and they're blantantly looking for someone who'll do it longterm when if I get the job and can therefore come to Australia I'd want to come when Amy Key is there and so will be finishing on the 10th September. Ah well. That's why the 2nd one is so good - it's only 4-8 weeks temp job, perfect. Anyway, that was a lot of pointless waffle, it all depends on whether anyone wants me! Will keep you posted.
Right, off to pack - going to party on down at the Rigler flat tomorrow night with Amy and Bradley and lots of people we don't know, yay! AND I'm going first class - gonna be wonderful. I may be unemployed but life is good.
Congrats again Roisin xxxx
Grace
HELLLO!!
CONGRATULATIONS ROISIN!
You have a new job, I've just had a parcel from ASOS so everything is great in the world! Loving the pictures Claire, it really looks like you had an amazing time. My saving up isnt going great for a ticket to austrailia so i may just have to do with pictures.
Anyway i am at school working on a presentation about Theravada Buddhism...im seriously thinking about becoming a Buddhist, no joke.
Speak to you at the weekend hopefully, love you both xx
PS Good Luck with the job Katy!!!
