Hi to you both, just checking in to say hope you're both well & enjoying life - guess that is the case having read the blog!!
All well here - Mum's face and knee continue to make good progress, bruises nearly all gone I'm pleased to say, so I'll be able to stop having to give explanations! Done some decorating in Grace's room, should be no excuse for some good A level results at the end of the year.
Got to mention the weather as it's rain, rain and more rain......tomorrow's forecast suggests I should be in the garage building an ark rather than writing this! No summer this year, must be planning a good one for next year.
Booked the telly for Saturday evening in the hope England scrape a win.....its on Satanta for once.
Take care of yourselves, hope life stays good.........

Tickets are bought for England V Kazakhstan, October 11th - WORLD CUP QUALIFIER!!
I'll be sure to start a Mexican wave for you when we're 1-0 down with 3 minutes to go before a deflected Wes Brown long range effort trickles over the Kazak goal line and we scrape a feeble 1-1 draw at home to a nation that has more professional goat herders that anyone else on earth..............
.......I'm full of optimism by the way!!

HI Both
Quick note to say hello and to say thanks for the card for the anniversary. we had a lovely weekend in Winchester- what a lovely city, like York but less busy. Sadly, as we were walking along a path on a walk around the city, I tripped and fell right on my face. I look like I've gone five rounds with someone large! I'll send you a photo Dad took during our 2 hour sojourn in A & E! It's a charming shade of yellow-purple now which apparently is a good sign! I got sympathetic glances and enqiries but poor Dad got some very doubtful looks. He told me to exaggerate the limp to show I was an accident victim rather than a sad domestic violence statistic! we went to a superb restaurant in Winchester, the food was the best I've had ever I think! Ask Dad about the madaleines and I had rabbit - don't tell Milly! It was all so good we went back on our second night and it was just as brilliant! It was very un-posh too, just excellent food and great service, no frills. Grace had the house to herself so she had a good weekend too. All back to business now on the countdown to New York in Feb 09 - can't wait! Keep well and happy and keep the messages coming.
Love Mum/ Bernie

G'day Bruce & Sheila
Hows it going? Are you feeling any better Smoshers? Hope James is continuing to supply the crumpets and chocolate digestives.
I will send you the pics from our adventure in Scotland to make you smile. Lots of Irish comedians from the Edinburgh festival (including Ed Byrne break dancing) and then our camping adventures - highlight being when we went 'off exploring' ourselves to some rocks just off a lovely beach. After a couple of hours of snoozing in the sun and watching Karl climbing more rocks we decided to return to the mainland only to see that the tide had come in - Scoolboy error!!!!! 5 minutes later and the two tourists turn up on the shore with jeans soaked up to our bums! We got a few smiles as we walked back to our car in the town.
Hope you're ok sissy. Miss you so much. Love you xxxx
