Sounds like you are having loads of fun, certainly beats Sainté anyday!!! (..which now seems like a distant memory). Got a job at Leeds Uni for the summer - quelle coïncidence! - everything I do these days seems to be linked to that place in some way.

re: the swivel seat loos - had one in Bruges a few years back...somewat disconcerting.
Glad the mountains were clear - send some of that rain this way, please. And the lac-- clear and warm? fish nibbling the toes? The only trout I ever caught were in that lac.
Good to hear that you're having a good time, and that you got to the Palais des Nations. Almost makes you believe in the human dream.
