Hello from a cold, damp U.k. Looked up Halong Bay and it looks amazing so hope you,re going to take loads of photos. Hopefully we'll have a U.K. break sometime after the 4th-just a few days-not very exotic compared with you pair. Look after yourselves-lots of love,Mumble xx
Mumble (And The Welshman!)
Great you have emerged from "under the radar "-it was a little scary not knowing where you were for 2 or 3 days, although I suppose i'll have to get used to that. Weather here cold-the heating has now been set for a couple of hours in the evening. The "old bats "are just the same and send their love. Continue to have a fantastic time and really enjoy your adventure. I shall expect parcels soon!! BIG HUGS xxxx

Great! Blog up and running! Hong Kong sounds very hectic, cant believe you of all people not shopping! Only cos you dont want to carry it I suppose!
Think you will have a more chilling time in Vietnam.

Hiya! Hong Kong is great, very hot and humid. It's very Westernised, but still with an Eastern edge! There is a contant smell of incense....very nice-and we of course have been thoroughly enjoying the food! It feels like I'm walking through a film set when we go into town, advertisements everywhere, cabs and flash cars. Oh and do I wish I had lots of money....it is a shopping paradise! We are a bit 'flashpacker' at the minute as our hotel is rather swish....however looking forward to Vietnam tomorrow, thats where we will be completely backpacker converted! First stop Hanoi, then travelling slightly north to Halong Bay. Speak soon everyone, hoping to put pics on soon. xxxx
