One of the nicer houses in the area we stayed in. Most of the Chilean houses are bungalow, very brightly coloured (a variety including neon blue we saw today). They are all like small fortifications featuring gates on the outside, broken glass acting as barb wire on the top, and front doors that lock behind them (see David y Poo Poo pic). They also feature tiles in the front, sometimes including the driveway and sidewalk.
