So we have spent the past three days in Singapore in the cheapest place right in the middle of the red light district which had brothels everywhere! We discovered the MRT which is basically like the tube stations in London so really easy to get around. We were expecting it to be very expensive so it was a shock when we discovered it really wasn't that expensive unless we were drinking alcohol then the prices were ridiculous! As Tom loves water parks we went to one which was located on Sentosa which is meant to be similar to what you would find in Florida. They have the Adventure Cove, Sea Aquarium and Universal Studios. We were a little disappointed as we thought it was going to be a lot better than it was but they did have a lazy river where you got to see dolphins and fish on your way round. We tried our first ever corn dog! We then found a Hard Rock Cafe .. One of Toms favourite restaurants so we went in and it was delicious! We tried to spend a lot of time out of the hotel room as it really wasn't great so we went to the centre and found a massive night market which literally had everything. They had a cinema which was £2 so we went and saw Malaficient. We had our first ever waffles and gelato and we could not believe how yummy it was! We saved Singapore Zoo for Toms birthday as it was highly rated. We got to the Zoo and it decided to chuck it down luckily we had both purchased pink ponchos just in case! The zoo was massive but again it looked like they had spent more money on how it looked then how the animals were being treated. So we were both walking around a little upset. They had a polar bear and all it's fur was green. We think the majority of the animals just looked really unhappy. We think three days was definitely enough in Singapore we are glad we went but wouldn't rate it at all and glad it wasn't as expensive as we thought. All photos were taken on actual cameras so will hopefully be able to upload them soon.
