We started our walk to the bus stop we were literally dreading it as it was a 30 minute walk and most up a massive steep hill. Saying bye to Jazzmin was horrible :( just before we got to the bottom of the hill a guy pulled up and asked us if we wanted a lift to the bus stop! It was incredible we couldn't believe it. As soon as we got in it started hail stoning and raining! We wouldn't normally get in people's cars but New Zealand feels so different. We had to wait at the bus stop for an hour but started chatting away to a local lady. We then got on two buses and had to wait another hour for our final bus and we were frozen! We got on our final bus and it was so busy we sat separately. I got stuck next to a guy that started eating sushi and it flipping stunk! We arrived at the bus stop and Maree was there to pick us up! Again we instantly clicked with her I gave her a massive cuddle and we drove to her house. We then met her husband and he was just as nice. We met little Millie who is adorable and so tiny. We had coffee and spoke to them both for a couple of hours. They have gone to Bali whilst we are house sitting for them. They have given us the car which is incredible to have a little freedom. We walked to a beautiful waterfall today it was massive! We woke up early and the sun was shining so we decided to go on a road trip. We drove all along the coast to Whangarei heads. We saw so many beautiful beaches. Our favourite was a beach called Ocean beach. It was a completely secluded beach. We went to an award winning park which we walked through and it had a massive pond with ducks where we sat and had a little picnic. Today we drove to Whale Bay, Woolleey Bay and Sandy Bay which were beautiful. We hiked through the forest and walked down to the beaches. We drove over an hour to see the Bay of Islands. When we got there we very nearly ran out of petrol whoops! We walked along the beaches and even saw dolphins! Had a little picnic. We went and saw another waterfall. The people we are house sitting for have said we can stay for as long as needed which is amazing for us as our next house sit is 6th December. So we are splitting our time between here and Auckland at her daughters house. Tom has majorly fallen in love with Millie she's so tiny and sleeps in the bed with us and you can't even feel her in the bed she's so ickle. We cannot believe our luck they have come back from Bali and she cooked us dinner. Tom had steak and I had chicken and it was incredible. We had cheesecake for dessert. We chatted for ages and get on so well. The next day we spent with then just around the house and the guy is called Ben he makes paddle boards so Tom went out on the lake for an hour which he said was amazing. She cooked us dinner again and cooked Salmon and I loved it I couldn't believe it! We had chocolate ice cream for dessert and I got excited scooped a massive chunk which flew across the table and nearly hit Ben I was so embarrassed but they found it hilarious. They went to Auckland the next day and stayed at the other house so we had a night to ourselves which was really nice. They came back and she cooked for us AGAIN! She cooked us a chicken curry. Her cooking is incredible and she was paying for everything! Ben drove us all the way to Auckland and we are now staying at the home in Auckland with her daughter and partner who are just as lovely. She took us on the ferry and in to the city which was really pretty. They cooked us dinner and we chatted for hours! We feel sooo spoilt! Today we woke up and they took us to a black sand beach which was so bizarre but beautiful the sand was like glitter. We then walked up the dunes and saw a massive make. They took us to a beautiful pub in the countryside with another couple who were lovely. We sat down and looked at the menu and pooped ourselves. It was so expensive and then they said don't worry mums paying for it. OH MY GOD so basically she has given them money to pay for us to stay here and buy our food etc! How flipping mental is that. We ordered and it was the best pub food ever! They then took us to a winery and got us a bottle of posh rose! They have the prettiest tonkinese cat who is beautiful. They have all done so much for us she is even driving us to the airport at 5am on Wednesday. Our last day in Auckland and it was a beautiful sunny day. We took a long dire to Long Bay beach which was really pretty we stayed there for the day sunbathing and we both burnt whoops! Bright red face to meet Carrie. I had plucked my eyebrows before I went to the beach it was not a good look once they were burnt.
